Who We Are

The Theoretical Chemistry Group (known as the Theory Group within the department) is a collection of researchers who use theory to solve problems and elucidate new phenomena. In a collaborative and sharing environment, the group includes members from the Pople, Ratner, Schatz, and Seideman research groups, as well as visiting scholars. It is very common for graduate students in the Theory Group to have joint research advisors combining theory and experiment.
